Free CME Training Program in Oncofertility

NYU Langone Health OBGYN Department's Enriching Communication Skills for Health Professionals in Oncofertility (ECHO) is a virtual training program aimed on enhancing knowledge and communication skills related to oncofertility.

 

This entirely virtual program is available at no cost and upon completion of all course requirements; participants will receive 20 continuing education credits.

 

Some of the Training Topics include:

Risk of infertility

Fertility preservation

Sexual functioning

Body image

Family planning

Contraception

Ethical, social, and cultural considerations

LGBTQ+ fertility care

To be eligible participants must:

Be a social worker, psychologist, nurse, or advanced practice provider

Provide oncology care for AYA cancer patients (ages 15-45)

Commit to 1-2 hours for 9 weeks for web-based learning and activities
