Posted about 3 years ago by Lisa Logan

Dear Nevada Academy of Physician Assistants member and medical provider, We are inviting you to participate in a qualitative research study about the influence of the COVID-19 pandemic on pain management treatment practices. A team of researchers at University of Kentucky have developed this web-based survey and have asked various professional organizations to share this opportunity among its provider members.

The primary aim of this study is to learn about the impact of this pandemic on pain management treatment practices from the perspectives of providers. These perspectives will be used to shed light on the challenges faced by providers during a pandemic as well as to inform infrastructure needs.

If you choose to participate in this web-based survey, it will take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete. Additionally, please feel free to pass this research opportunity along to other providers you may know – every provider voice and perspective shared through this study will help the research team develop a comprehensive understanding of how this pandemic has impacted treatment practices and help the research team identify challenges faced by providers. The results can be used to better support providers in their clinical efforts.
