Candidates for President-Elect:

NO CANDIDATE

Candidates for Treasurer:

Zhi "Jenny" Baker, PA-C

Hi, I’m Zhi “Jenny” Baker.  Over the past year, I had the privilege to serve as your NAPA treasurer.  I’m asking for your support for reelection to this position.  I am a dedicated member of NAPA and am always encouraging PAs to join our organization.  I believe the strength of our numbers can help us advocate for our profession.  I have learned a great deal over this past year and want to continue to work with the Board to bring success and sustainability to our profession.

I started my PA career in Louisiana after graduating from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center-Shreveport.  I moved to Las Vegas over three years ago to be closer to my family.  I’m currently practicing in Orthopedics.  I would be honored to continue to serve as the NAPA treasurer.

Candidates for Southern Director At Large (One Vacancy):

Brett Levinson, PA-C

Hello! My name is Brett Levinson, and I would be honored for the opportunity to promote the important work that PAs do in Nevada. As the President of the Physician Assistant Class of 2023 of Touro University Nevada, my first steps as a PA revolved around representing our profession, both within the university and within the state. I arranged multiple discussions with the Nevada Board of Medical Examiners to discuss my recently-graduated peers’ concerns about having to leave the state to find work due to the prolonged license granting process, leading to the Board increasing their approval speed to nearly double their historical rate.

While I was born in California, I have fallen in love with the mountains and desert landscapes of Henderson and Southern Nevada, and I am proud to call it my new home. As a primary care provider, I educate Nevadans every day in the critical role that PAs have in our state’s healthcare. I hope to spread awareness of the important work PAs perform to the highest levels of our state’s legislature so that we can expand our ability to care for our patients and continue to be an active, integral part of our medical community.

Candidates for House of Delegates Representative (Two Vacancies):

Sarah Kay Lemback, PA-C

My name is Sarah Kay and I would be honored to represent Nevada as an HOD delegate. I completed my PA schooling in Colorado, where I was a fervent member of the local PA association, writing to numerous legislators and advocating for several bills to empower PAs in the state and effectively expand our influence and purview. I have been an active participant in the AAPA throughout my time as a student, serving on the AAPA student service committee and as a student HOD delegate. I loved being a part of influencing legislation and shaping the future of the PA profession.

I am a 4th generation Nevadan, born in Las Vegas, raised in Reno, and now practicing in Urgent Care in Elko. I am uniquely qualified to understand the needs of PAs in our state, in both rural and urban settings. As an HOD delegate, I will strive to collaborate with fellow states and strengthen Nevada’s relationships within the house. I am passionate about taking action to empower Nevada’s PAs to practice and serve to the highest degree. I am hopeful my efforts will enhance our profession and blaze trails towards a better future for Nevada Physician Assistants and our patients.
