Project ECHO Nevada invites you to their upcoming 8-session free series of the Diabetes in Primary Care ECHO. This will be 60-minute long teleconference sessions that will serve as a continuing education resource for primary care in regards to diabetes. This initiative aims to provide healthcare professionals with the opportunity to collaborate and discuss cases with a multidisciplinary team of subject matter experts, ultimately improving diabetes care.

Series Schedule : 

 

  • August 23rd, 2024: Orientation: Cost Challenges, Resources
  • September 6th, 2024: Standards of Care for Complication Risk in the Primary Care Setting
  • September 20th, 2024: Nutrition Strategies for Weight Management
  • October 4th, 2024: Obesity and Medication
  • October 18th, 2024: Sick Day Management
  • November 8th, 2024: Alcohol and Diabetes
  • November 22nd, 2024: Stigma in Diabetes Care
  • December 6th, 2024: Non-Nutritive Sweeteners

*Please note that while attendance at each session is not mandatory, our ECHO team strongly recommends that you attend the majority of sessions in order to maximize your learning and collaboration during the series. If you are unable to attend any session(s) we still encourage you to join us in the next session whenever possible*

 

This is a free program with CME/CEU credit available.
