University of Colorado School of Medicine’s Climate & Health Program
The Diploma in Climate Medicine is a national program created to train clinical leaders who want to move beyond an introduction to climate and health and dive deeply into the complex landscape of communication, systems, and policy. While the health impacts of climate change are beginning to be addressed in medical education, we are invested in reaching and engaging the practicing workforce who are seeing these impacts in their patients every day.
Our Community Resilience Certificate will take place February 27 & 28 in Arlington, VA, just prior to the Medical Society Consortium on Climate and Health's 2026 Our Planet, Our Health Annual Convention.
Training the Next Generation of Climate Leaders
The Diploma in Climate Medicine helps clinicians turn concern into leadership. This CME-accredited program from the University of Colorado School of Medicine equips health professionals to address climate impacts through clinical care, systems leadership, and advocacy.
Offered just prior to the 2026 Our Planet, Our Health Annual Convention, the Community Resilience Certificate (February 27 & 28, Arlington, VA) focuses on local and regional policy solutions and includes a hands-on climate communication workshop for health professionals.
